To support the free and open dissemination of research findings and information on alcoholism and alcohol-related problems. To encourage open access to peer-reviewed articles free for all to view.

For full versions of posted research articles readers are encouraged to email requests for "electronic reprints" (text file, PDF files, FAX copies) to the corresponding or lead author, who is highlighted in the posting.

Faces & Voices of Recovery is excited to announce a new initiative -- The Association of Recovery Community Organizations at Faces & Voices of Recovery (ARCO). ARCO will unite and support the growing network of local, regional and statewide recovery community organizations. ARCO will link recovery community organizations and their leaders with local and national allies, and provide training and technical assistance to new and emerging as well as established groups.

All groups that are led and governed by the recovery community may join.

Members will receive a number of benefits:

  • Organizational capacity and sustainability building
  • Technical assistance opportunities
  • Increased organizational visibility
  • Use of the ARCO and Faces & Voices names

Each member organization will also be eligible to send its Executive Director (or Board chair if there is no Executive Director) to the first annual Executive Directors Leadership Academy in Detroit, Michigan from October 21-23, 2011. > > > > Read More
