This 16th conference in the Alcohol Policy series will explore progress in advancing sound alcohol policies at the local, regional, national, and international levels. Since 1981, when the first in this series of alcohol policy conferences took place, experiences in alcohol policy research, development, implementation, enforcement, and evaluation at all four levels have acted as building blocks to identify and promote evidence-based strategies, and to bring focus to the need for alcohol policy reform.
