Welcome
We are a group of sober members of AA in the DC area and across the U.S. committed to exposing the Midtown Group (MG) as a cult posing within AA. Some of us are former members or loved ones of former members of the group.
It is our belief that the leaders of the MG utilize vulnerable young men and women to further their own security and status. Additionally, we believe that the allegations of statutory rape and sexual abuse are hallmarks of a destructive cult that needs to be stopped.
We are dedicated to stopping Midtown from using AA’s name to take advantage of vulnerable young newcomers who come through their doors seeking help from what they believe to be AA. We will not stop until DC area AA is back in the hands of real AA groups so that newcomers can find the help they need.
