For full versions of posted research articles readers are encouraged to email requests for "electronic reprints" (text file, PDF files, FAX copies) to the corresponding or lead author, who is highlighted in the posting.

Scottish Addiction Studies On-line Courses in the Addictions 2006-2007


Scottish Addiction Studies have been offering on-line courses in drug and alcohol issues since 1996. All courses are offered using a secure internetbased teaching environment with on-line tutorial discussions and exercises so that students can adjust their study time to meet their own needs and commitments. All courses are preceded by free half-day workshops on using the teaching environment, writing academic essays, undertaking individual study projects etc. Courses for 2006/2007 include:
  • Drugs, Alcohol and Nursing
  • University Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Studies
