The city of Aalborg is the first stop for public health on a road trip to take the nation's pulse - and more | |
Citizens of Aalborg will be making history Tuesday as they line up to participate in the nation's largest health study ever. The two-year KRAM study will make use of a clinic on wheels to visit a dozen cities and towns, recording the health habits of 18,000 Danes. The KRAM project, run by the National Institute of Public Health, takes its name from the first letters of the Danish words for 'diet', 'smoking', 'alcohol' and 'exercise' - the four areas the study will concentrate on. . . . . . . ________________________________________________________________ |
