The International Center for Alcohol Policies (ICAP; www.icap.org) is pleased to announce the release of a series of papers in Traffic Injury Prevention on drink driving situations in low- to middle-income countries. The paper series is associated with the Drink Driving Initiative of Global Actions on Harmful Drinking (www.global-actions.org).
The papers in the March 2012 issue focus on describing and analyzing the drink driving situations in China, Colombia, Nigeria, and Vietnam. The information collected in each paper followed a questionnaire and assessment guidelines developed by Global Actions consultant Mavis Johnson, which referenced the Good Practice Manual on Drinking and Driving by the Global Road Safety Partnership, the World Health Organization, World Bank, and FIA-Foundation. > > > > Read More
