A SUPERMARKET price war is putting children's lives at risk with cut-price alcohol.
With cans of own-brand lager available from 25p when bought in large packs, and well-known brands such as Tennent's from 44p, critics say youngsters can easily afford to buy alcohol.And because it is so cheap, under-age children can ask older teenagers to buy it for them, and then give them a can or two as a thank-you.
