Postings are provided by international contributors who monitor news, publications and research findings in their country, geographical region or program area of interest. All postings are entered without editorial or contributor opinion or comment.

To support the free and open dissemination of research findings and information on alcoholism and alcohol-related problems. To encourage open access to peer-reviewed articles free for all to view.

Supporting Families – a joint approach to drug and alcohol misuse.
This free event will take place on Monday 24 May 2010 at Lambeth Town Hall from 9.30am-12.15pm followed by a buffet lunch.
The event will promote several new initiatives including the protocol document “Safeguarding Children affected by parents, carers and other adults substance misuse”.
The main speakers are Mike Kelleher, Consultant Psychiatrist, Addictions and Fran Holgate, Area Director, Compass.
