Aboriginal Doctor Urges First Nations To Deal With Alcoholism

Victoria, British Columbia (AHN) - British Columbia Aboriginal Health Adviser Dr. Evan Adams urged First Nations communities in the province to deal with their problem on alcoholism. He encouraged aboriginal leaders to begin crafting an alcohol strategy to save native lives since alcohol-related deaths among First Nations are five times higher than the average for other BC residents. . . . . . .
