TECHNICAL NOTE  -  No drinking and driving for 17 to 20-year-olds   Recommendation in the Chief Medical Officer’s Annual Report 2007The blood alcohol concentration (BAC) limit in the United Kingdom is 0.8 g/l, and is the same for all drivers. Many European countries have a limit of 0.5 g/l. The Chief Medical Officer has recommended a zero limit for younger drivers.
