Supermarkets are fuelling a culture of binge drinking by cutting the price of alcohol they sell, it has been claimed.
Some best-selling drinks now cost 20 per cent less than they did a year ago, new figures reveal.
A survey by mysupermarket.co.uk shows a dramatic fall in prices over the last 12 months.
The site looked at the cost of alcohol in four major supermarket chains - Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Ocado, the online arm of Waitrose.
